Mhairi, your English teacher

I’m Mhairi (pronounced Vari) and I am originally from the West of Scotland. I have taught English since 2013 in Switzerland. I teach General English, Business English, IELTS and Cambridge English Exam courses, and English for Specific Purposes, and communication in Health Care. I was also a speaking examiner.

I am passionate about learning and teaching and believe everyone can learn to speak English with confidence. I focus on helping you develop techniques and strategies that will help you communicate fluently and confidently.

I am excited to be partnering with Elsa French Teacher to provide you with a motivating learning space. I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you on your English learning journey.

The English online classes

  • Maximum 4 people per class
  • 6-week course: 180 euros per person
  • 1 lesson per week
  • 90-minutes class
  • Course via Zoom
  • Access to a private platform for my students

Before you register I will test your spoken level of English.

To participate in classes you need a good internet connection and be familiar with using technology. You will access a private platform to communicate with other students.
